Editing Schedule Flowchart

One of the top questions I get asked is, how do I got about editing my manuscript and in what order do I do things? I thought it might be helpful to offer a reference flowchart that shows exactly what order I aim for!

NOTE: The process below is a) what I AIM for, not always what I MANAGE and b) your process doesn't have to look like mine! You can do multiple beta rounds, fewer self edits, skip CP/developmental edits altogether...you can make the process work however it's best for you!
